Crew are understandably passionate about the colour and feel of their catalogues. The challenge is to reproduce this on lightweight uncoated paper, within an A5 format catalogue that is perfect bound and printed web offset.
The heat set nature of web offset production causes moisture in the paper to evaporate, making the binding tight and the catalogue difficult to open. Our solution was to work with an A5 format web offset book Printer, who can print with the paper grain running in a different direction. This eliminates the tight binding, and with careful attention to the colour management and proofing we deliver a cost effective series of catalogues that look and feel as good as they should.
